In this paper, we have presented an efficient original architecture of all-optical 2 × 4 photonic crystal decoder based on non-linear ring resonators. The fundamental structure is a square lattice 2D GaAs rods, operating around the wavelength 1.55 µm. proposed composed combiner with three input ports, where port E used for excitation and A1, A2 are control optical switch four output it nonlinear DMEX. For creation at µm, chalcogenide glass rods Kerr coefficient equal to 9 10–17 m2/w. switching intensity size 1 Kw/µm2, 27.12 µm 17.96 respectively. contrast ratio about 8.7. maximum crosstalk insertion losses calculated be ? 22.1 4.5 dB. minimum power levels logic states 0 0.05 P0 0.37 power. finite element method was perform necessary calculations.

In this paper, we proposed an all optical 4-to-2 encoder that has 4 input and 3 output ports. This device generates a 2 bit binary code based on which input port is active. We used nonlinear photonic crystal ring resonators along with optical power splitter for realizing the proposed encoder.
